Nina Tovish is owner of Lucid Design, a business dedicated to interactive
design and development. Her work includes phases of consultation,
specification, prototyping, design, development, and implementation
for multimedia projects on the internet, standalone kiosks, and
CD-ROM. She serves clients in the not-for-profit, government, and
corporate sectors.
Her creative approach is informed by career experience in business
communications, journalism, and the visual arts, as well as new
media — and
draws on a strong technical skill-set, including design, imaging,
sound, database, video, animation, and authoring software. She brings
incisive writing and editorial skills to textual material, whether
destined for print or the web.
She also provides the essential bridge between a client’s
needs and the technology requirements of a project, either through
her own expertise in the field or through effective communication,
collaboration, and coordination with others (engineers and developers,
editorial personnel, illustrators, systems administrators, production
staff).
